Our friendly local teams in Auckland, Wellington, Taupo, Tauranga and Christchurch have the expertise to help you select the right product from a vast number of options, to best suit your needs. We work both with commercial and residential clients, supplying all major high-quality window tint brands and guarantee our workmanship, giving you the peace of mind for a window tinting job well done.

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of melanoma in the world and that in itself is a reason enough to tint your windows at your home and workplace. There are however, many other benefits of tinting your windows:

Blocking out Harmful UV-Rays

Window tinting is an efficient method of blocking out harmful UV-radiation, and all of our solar films eliminate 99% of harmful UV-rays. This means that by tinting the windows of your office and/or home, you significantly increase your protection from UV-radiation levels, which are in New Zealand particularly high from September to April between 10am and 4pm.

Protecting Furniture from Fading

With the GlassProtech range of modern high-quality tinted window films, you can maintain the desired light levels, whilst protecting your furniture, flooring, textiles and artwork from fading.  Approximately 25% of fading is in fact caused by heat rather than UV-rays, so it is important to select the right product to protect your furniture from heat damage. Contact your local branch to discuss how we can help protect your interior furnishing from fading.

Reducing Glare

Glare can be a major issue within office building and schools, where laptop and projector screens become virtually invisible due to glare – our window tints can help. We work extensively with both  residential and commercial customers to help reduce glare by installing window tinting on your glass.

Increasing Energy Efficiency

Our customers are often surprised with the energy savings that can be obtained by tinting their windows. GlassProtech supplies a vast range of technologically advanced window films, that minimize the loss of heating and cooling, and therefore maintain the heat in the winter months while keeping it cool in the summer, saving you money.

Improving Privacy

Many of our clients contact us to improve on privacy, as new buildings are built within viewing distance of each other. Unlike old school silver reflective films, modern daytime privacy films offer neutral reflections, less exterior glare, and improved performance. GlassProtech offers a wide range of privacy films to fill the requirements for either interior or exterior application.
